Joseph Giangola, M.D.

Joseph Giangola, M.D., is chief of the Diabetes Section of the Department of Medicine and medical director of the MOLLY Diabetes Education/Management Center for Adults and Children at Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC). He has been an attending physician at HUMC for 26 years and is an associate clinical professor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) - New Jersey Medical School.

He is a board-certified internist with training in diabetes care from the Joslin Clinic in Boston, MA.

His practice is limited exclusively to the treatment of diabetes and diabetes complications.

In 2008, he was selected as HUMC's Outstanding Physician of the Year.
