The Pastoral Care Department is located on the third floor (West) of the George Link Jr. Pavilion of Hackensack University Medical Center. Our chapel is located directly next to our office. It is our mission to provide some degree of compassion, spiritual comfort, and consolation to patients, family, and medical center staff of all faiths during times of spiritual uncertainty. What's more, another part of our role is to talk with patients in a calm, comforting way when they are facing surgery, medical treatment, or physical and psychological issues that are upsetting or troubling. Our approach is interdenominational and focuses on helping those who are at a difficult point in their life - whether that involves physical or psychological ill health.
