Message to Send	When Pascack Valley Hospital closed last year, residents in the area were left in a bad situation, being placed further away from the critical health services they need to survive. Since it closed, I have often worried about the proximity of emergency healthcare services, especially because of the crowded area we live in. Hackensack University Medical Center's plan to reopen the hospital is a good one and is timely. We need these services close to our homes, and this is a great way to do it. Hackensack University Medical Center has proven to be a leading name in medical care, and a new hospital would be a great benefit to our community. We deserve the best healthcare possible, and this new hospital would provide that. I hope that the State Health Planning Board makes the right decision and recommends that Pascack Valley be reopened under the direction of Hackensack University Medical Center. As your constituent, I am asking you to please support the opening of Hackensack University Medical Center North at Pascack Valley.
