More than 400 people attended a rally supporting the re-opening of a community hospital in Westwood on Monday, Oct. 13.

Hackensack University Medical Center has applied to the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services for permission to bring quality healthcare back to the Pascack and Northern Valley regions. By completely revamping and reopening the former Pascack Valley Hospital, HUMC North at PV will provide area residents with:

  • 128 Inpatient Beds including:
    • I.C.U.
    • Medical / Surgical
    • Obstetrics
  • Six (6) full service Operating Rooms
  • Four (4) Surgical Procedure Rooms
  • Radiology
  • Laboratory
  • Cardiac Cath Lab
  • Other Outpatient
    Services to be determined

A Satellite Emergency Department opened up on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, and is a great first step toward giving you access to the quality healthcare you need and deserve, but in order to bring all the services you and your family need, we need your support.

We need your help to make this happen. By participating in our efforts, your voice will be heard loud and clear in Trenton. It is important to let our legislators know that people living and working in the Pascack and Northern Valley regions are in dire need of accessible medical services.

YOUR HELP CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. AS PARTNERS, WE CAN SUCCEED.
