WHO WE ARE
Hackensack University Medical Center's cardiac surgeons have extensive clinical and academic experience and provide an integrative surgical approach to diseases of the heart and thoracic cavity. The surgeons are certified by both the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. Many staff members are published in professional medical literature. The articles and presentations they have written cover the entire spectrum of topics in cardiothoracic surgery, including work on cancer biology, cerebral physiology and operations on the coronary arteries, thoracic aorta, cardiac valves, as well as small incisions for mitral and aortic valve surgery.
