Q: What is the most promising new technique or procedure in surgical oncology?
A: Until very recently, a patient's options included traditional surgery with a large open incision or laparoscopy, which uses small incisions but is typically limited to very simple procedures to meet the demand for new, less invasive surgery. I now use robotic-assisted surgery.
