This structure improves the delivery of care, cuts down waiting times for appointments, decreases waiting time in the center, and provides for more convenient appointment hours. Sixty percent of the mammograms that take place at The Betty Torricelli Institute for Breast Care are screening; 40 percent are diagnostic – a high percentage that is a result of Hackensack University Medical Center’s sophisticated medical expertise.
